Equal parts earthy and sophisticated, our treehouses are your have-and-eat-your-cake hideaway:
a private jungle oasis with the frills
of a boutique hotel.
Wake to dappled sunlight creeping through the thatched walls, sip on small-batch mezcal from your terrace at golden hour, fall asleep to the soothing sound of the Baja breeze weaving through the surrounding palms.
The wind acts as a natural white noise machine, which we’ve been told makes for some incredible rest (we’d venture the plush king-size beds don’t hurt, either).
Come morning, chirping birds serve as your natural alarm clock – and on active days, this may include the occasional crowing rooster! Nestled in a canopy of palms, each treehouse is accessible via its own foliage-bedecked path, offering complete privacy steps from the buzz of our restaurant and bar.
Room reservations include daily two-course breakfast, morning yoga, and free rein to enjoy all our ever-growing grounds have to offer. Sip on award-winning cocktails by the pool, play a game of badminton or bocce, explore our gardens, and get to know our menagerie of Acre animals; our family includes peacocks, roosters,
Nigerian dwarf goats, and one incredibly adorable donkey named Burrito.
A stay at Acre is to connect with nature without the creature comfort sacrifice.
There’s nothing quite like it.
HOW MANY TREEHOUSES IN TOTAL?
Acre has 12 treehouses on its property, including one deluxe double unit connected by a suspended bridge. Each treehouse includes a terrace, bathroom, closet, outdoor shower, and king-size bed with mosquito net, plus high-speed internet and a curated mini-bar.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR DAILY ROOM RATE?
Our standard room includes a daily complimentary ACRE Wake Up Breakfast (pastry, coffee or tea and juice) and morning yoga class in our mango orchard, as well as access to our pool (reserved for treehouse guests only) and the rest of our property. Acre features organic gardens, citrus groves, a fire pit, bocce ball, badminton, ping pong, and an area where we house our farm animals. There’s much to explore! Our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and our bar is open morning through night.
DOES ACRE HAVE
Massage and other bodywork is available in our poolside treatment room, or on your treehouse terrace.
WHAT TIME DOES THE ACRE POOL CLOSE?
The Acre pool closes at sundown; however, on days when we have weddings or other poolside events, we close the pool at 3:00 PM. On these days, we offer our guests the opportunity to visit the El Ganzo Hotel's Private Beach Club, compliments of Acre - guests only pay their consumption.
WHAT ABOUT OFF-SITE EXCURSIONS?
Acre is in proximity to a wide variety of excursions: surfing and scuba lessons, golf, whale-watching, and downtown San Jose del Cabo shopping, to name a few. We’d be happy to organize any off-site activities for you.
WHEN ARE THE RECEPTION HOURS?
Reception hours are between 7am to 11pm.
DO YOU OFFER HANDICAPPED ROOMS?
Due to the unique structure of our accommodations, our treehouses are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?
Acre has a complimentary guest parking lot located near the property’s entrance.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
We apologize for any inconvenience, but Acre is an adults-only resort.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Pets are always welcome at Acre. Since our farm is home to several animals, we do ask, however, that your pet be comfortable around other creatures; we currently have dogs, small goats, peacocks, and a donkey on property.
IS WI-FI AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL /
IN THE ROOM?
Our treehouses, restaurant, and pool area all have access to high-speed internet.
DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORTATION TO OR FROM THE AIRPORT?
Certainly. We’d be happy to handle airport transport for you.
