As a result of the most current US (January 26, 2021) and Canadian (January 6, 2021) requirements for COVID-19 testing within three days of travel from Mexico, ACRE Guest Services is pleased to facilitate testing on behalf of our Guests and Owners. Antigen and PCR testing are available locally through several hospitals, laboratories and clinics with costs dependent upon the type of test required and in accordance with CDC and Airline requirements.
Antigen tests may be obtained for approximately $55.00 USD with results available within one to four hours. PCR tests may be obtained for approximately $395.00 USD with results available within 72 hours. A small fee will be added if testing is done on property. All test prices are subject to change and are direct cost from provider. ACRE will continue to work to find the lowest price available for our Guests and Owners.
Due to the requirements in place effective January 26, 2021 for travel to the US, we strongly encourage all Guests and Owners to confirm with your airline for specific testing requirements prior to travel.
Chef Luis’ passion for cooking came from generations of family members who all shared the same love of connection through culinary creativity. Cooking was in his blood, and Luis would carve his life’s work from the fond moments he shared with his family.
Chef Luis now takes the reins at newly opened Fausto’s - Acre’s onsite diner, where he’s creating unique, fun day-time comfort food for locals and onsite guests. Fausto’s offers a completely different dining experience to Acre’s main restaurant, in that diners can enjoy booth seating, air-conditioning and an indoor eatery experience.

Originally from Los Angeles, armed with the fundamentals of Californian cuisine along with years of continued pastry chef experience and education, Luis came to Los Cabos in 2017 in search of his next career move at Acre, where he would stay for a year.
Luis went on to participate in the opening of acclaimed Forbes 5 Star Resort The Montage Los Cabos but eventually returned to his Acre roots to hone in on his ultimate desire of opening the best gourmet bakery in the Baja.
